谈及是什么让自己获得了职业生涯新高的场均6.6次罚球机会（罚球命中率为76.2%，几乎是个人最佳水平，22-23赛季76.5%）。布朗表示：“我觉得是我的体格原因。我现在更强壮了，身体对抗能力更强了，速度也更快了。所以，我一直在利用自己的身体优势，掩护也做得更好了。这样就能更多地杀到内线去，也正因如此，我获得了更多的罚球机会。”

“我们队里有很多三分射手，所以我努力去成为那个能杀到内线、在我们投三分之前先去冲击内线的人。我不清楚具体的数据情况，但也许在我们先冲击内线再投三分和直接就投三分这两种情况下，效果会稍有不同，所以我至少会试着先去冲击一下内线。”
